Passion & Expertise
James Warren
Managing Director
James formed the company in 2016, after identifying a demand for a more client-centric professional service within the demolition market. This service provision exists within heavily regulated environments such as oil & gas and James’s vision was to mirror this service within the industrial/commercial and domestic market, with the aim of differentiating Kinetic Demolition from its competitors. James started his career studying quantity surveying alongside working in private practice. On completion of his degree, he started working in the demolition industry as an estimator for a major UK decommissioning business, which formed the basis to his heavy industrial experience. James manages the business development, pre-contract and commercial function of the business as well as overall strategy and business direction.
Peter MacDonald
Operations Director
Peter joined the business in 2021 as Operations Director with his experience and attitude aligning with our service provision objectives. Peter has been active in the demolition industry for 20 years as a contractor and as a consultant. Peter specialises in oil/gas decommissioning and demolition, although also has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical, chemical, nuclear and heavy industries. A chartered member of IOSH, a full member of the Institute of Demolition Engineers and a qualified Principal Designer, Peters role is to provide technical solutions to client briefs, manage the demolition process, ensure safe working practices and assistJames with the strategic development of Kinetic Demolition
